Margarite Batease Fund inc d/b/a/FUTURE WAY, INC.
General Meeting July 1, 2006
Intent of Meeting:
1. To ascertain the feeling of the membership regarding the future of Future Way and the Future Way Healing Center for the short term and after Margarite is no longer able to physically continue with the work. Margarite expressed with a quiver in her voice and moist eyes, her love of the service and the importance of ongoing support for the evolving of the soul with each member of Future Way.
With unanimous agreement amongst the meeting attendees and numerous emails, it has been decided that Future Way will be continuing as a healing center and as Margarite Batease Fund, Inc. To assist with the numerous opportunities for service, a committee has been formed, to be guided / trained by Margarite during a transition period to eventually take over Future Way.
The committee members are Reverends Dawn Willard, Lucy Beverly, Brett Gustafson, Margo Johnston and Yvonne Weston.
· It was resolved that the operational committee meet the First Saturday of each month for communication of information and exchange of ideas for planning, learning to work as a team.
· The volunteers for service are:
Teaching - Dawn Willard, Brett Gustafson
Transfer Healing, Contact Healing & Soul Path Clearing
Monday-Saturday 8.30 - 10am - Lucy
Monday-Saturday - Dawn
Wednesday-Saturday - Brett.
Evenings - Brett, Lucy, Dawn.
General Office Work including Computer Bookkeeping: Margo, Yvonne
Organizing & Preparation for groups: Dawn, Yvonne, Margo
Numerous general offers for future service.
Website upkeep: Richard Sentelle
Gardening, grounds upkeep: Margo, Brett
Indoor Maintenance, General Cleaning: Brett, Dawn
Newsletter: After having completed ten years, Lucy and Brett will take over the editing of the newsletter from Margarite. Margo & Yvonne offered assistance with the preparation for mailing and emailing. Huguette has offered an article for the next issue and Margarite will still contribute.
For follow up next meeting: Recommendation by Jo McKernan to explore the possibility of aligning with Center for Unlimited Possibilities - next to Earth Fare at Westgate.
It has come to Margarite’s attention that some people thought from the original communication that she would not be doing anymore healing or teaching. This is a misunderstanding. Margarite will be continuing to attend to people’s needs with her Transfer healing, Soul Path Readings and Teaching as she has in the past. The help she will receive will allow her to have time for herself and the projects she has put on hold.
As a member, which you are if you have received either healing or teaching from anyone at Future Way, it is your choice which healer you feel is for you. Please state your preference when calling for an appointment.
