Topics of Discussion:

 1. Resolved.  Future Way design for the brochure and business cards needing completion.  Brochure will now have “Providing Healing Both Nationally and Internationally” underneath the Future Way Logo. Business cards will include Future Way logo, center phone number, individual healer’s name and phone number. Brett will be interfacing with Vista to print the cards which each healer will pay for themselves.   

2. Chamber of Consciousness/Center of Unlimited Possibilities membership application will be submitted upon receipt of the printed brochure and business cards. MBF, Inc D/B/A Future Way is currently registered in Florida. It was suggested that as a result of upcoming presence in the CUP newsletter/website and links with other likeminded businesses, investigation is needed to ensure that we do not need a North Carolina Operational License. Lucy volunteered to seek advice of a financial planner she knows.

3. Resolved.  Community Day at the Asheville Mall needs a Future Way Liaison to complete the application, select a place for a table, and ensure we follow all guidelines. The committee requested Lucy with her business acumen to take on this position and she has graciously accepted.  

4. Resolved. The MBF New will have a new section titled “Letters to the Editor” from members wanting to share.

5. Resolved. Scheduling of appointments online for volunteer healers. An internal Google spreadsheet has been created by our wonderful tech support Richard Sentelle. This will permit each healer the convenience of entering appointments online from their homes/businesses to be viewed only by the healers. Codes have been assigned to each type of healing as follows:

6. The center phone now has call forwarding. This will enable the phone to be forwarded to the volunteers covering the 9am -10am phone hour for appointments through the center.

7. Follow up discussion on the need for an increase in fees for private half day/full day sessions and seminars. Resolved. The new fees effective January 2007 are as follows: 

Private Half Day Sessions $ 300.00

Private Full Day Sessions  $ 500.00

2 Day Seminars  $550.00

3 Day Seminars  $800.00

Overnight accommodations including breakfast $50.00

Overnight accommodations including dinner and breakfast $65.00 

     A new fee category has been added due to the request for Animal Healings. The    

     fee is $35.00

 

8. Margarite has informed the committee that Claire Pitts has withdrawn her

    commitment as a volunteer healer.
