Operational Committee Meeting Minutes December 2nd, 2006

                   In Attendance:  Margarite Batease, Dawn Willard, Lucy Beverly, Margo Johnston and Yvonne Weston.

                  November 4th minutes approved as read.

                  Topics of Discussion:

 1.     Resolved.  In reviewing printed brochure, a few minor changes were suggested and approved.

 2.     Community Day at the Asheville Mall still pending additional information. Lucy and Yvonne to pursue.

 3.     Resolved.  The center can operate in North Carolina with it’s Federal Tax Identification Number.

 4.     Newsletter design incorporating visual drawings further discussed. Several cartoon drawings submitted were reviewed and are a great start and basis for        continued creative thinking.

 5.     Committee was saddened to hear of Brett Gustafson’s decision to withdraw as co-editor of the newsletter and as a committee member. He will continue a presence volunteering his services when needed. We wish him well.

 6.     Annual Christmas Party will be a New Years Party this year to accommodate everyone expressing a desire to attend.
